Should I get the Galaxy S7 Edge when it comes out, or wait until the iPhone 7 comes out?

The Galaxy S7 comes out in a few weeks, honestly that phone looks freaking amazing and gorgous. I have an iPhone 6 Plus right now, but I was stupid and got the 16gb model (because they were sold out of everything else) and I am always running out of storage, I practically have to delete the Facebook app just to take a damn picture or video, its so annoying, I want a new phone. I'm really tempted to get the Galaxy S7 Edge because it just looks so freaking awesome! The only thing keeping me from getting a samsung is all my friends say android lags like crazy. Is this true? I've only owned an iPhone since the iPhone 3G so I never really used iPhone, but I feel like the iPhone is getting kinda stale and boring. The Galaxy S7 Edge looks freaking sick.
Added (1). I never really used android is what I meant to say. I've only used iPhones, But I really am wanting something new tho.
Added (2). I could also upgrade to the Iphone 6S and get the smaller one (Because the 6 Plus is kinda too huge) and upgrade to 64GB of storage.
