Deleted photos from gopro and tablet?

I d really appreciate anyone s help on this. I ve lost photos on my tablet hjay I m really upset over I know it s a bit long winded but please bear with me.
I ve got a gopro hero 4 and a Samsung galaxy tab 4. I downloaded a set of pictures from my gopro to the app on my tablet. I downloaded the photos from the app to my tablet. It automatically creates a folder in the gallery called go pro and stores the photos that you download from the gopro there. So. I downloaded the photos.saw them in that folder so thought it was safe to delete them from the app (already deleted from camera which had since been used) but to my horror, it also deleted them from my gallery. The whole file go pro is gone. Is there any way I can get them back? I m hoping beyond hope someone can help me here. I ve tried reading a few articles online which advised hooking my tablet up to a computer. Unfortunately I have no access to a pc and any public libraries have restrictions and will not let me download software to try to retrieve it. All I have is my tablet, my gopro camera and Internet access. If anyone could help me with this, I d be forever grateful! Thanks so much.
